Olivier family

On a very hot Saturday, the 19th of November I photographed the Olivier family and their nearly two year old, Zach.

It started out slightly hottish, but as the shoot went on, the weather got more bearable and Zach got more playful!

This little blue-eyed blond boy ain't afraid of anything, he sat on a tortoise, dined with the sheep and ran up and down some old farm school stairs!

Take a look at his visit on the farm!

Stephan & Marzanne Barnard

Pink wedding shoes, zebras, giraffes, springboks, blue wildebeest  and  feeding humongous elephants, were all part of Stephan and Marzanne Barnard’s wedding on October the 29th, 2011!!

This couple got married at The Garden Route Game Lodge, near Albertinia. It started off a bit windy, but luckily the rain stayed away and the dark clouds made for beautiful pictures!

Marzanne’s father is the reverend at Albertinia’s NG Church. He walked his daughter down the aisle, handed her to her future husband and then started the ceremony, without  a scratch in his voice (or that anyone could notice). After a beautiful ceremony, the fun started and we went on a game drive for the photos, pink shoes and all!

The weather was perfect, dark clouds, with a dash of sunlight, you really couldn’t ask for better!! We also took  photos with the very big elephants, I must admit, I were a bit afraid and put on a longer lens, so I could stand a bit back!! Stephan and Marzanne loved these big animals and even went to feed them!

I think we got stunning photos of a stunning couple and an awesome venue, check it out below!

Booysen Family

On Sunday, 23nd of October 2011, I photographed the Booysen family, mostly their two year old, Christo. His mom warned me that Christo doesn’t know about smiling yet, but we had no problem getting happy snaps of this little man!

We took the photos at Botterkloof Resort, near Stillbay. There were plenty of cool stuff to get Christo’s attention, he rode a tractor, spoke face to face with  “the Big Billy Goat” and nearly caught a peacock! With all these action going on, who wouldn’t get shots full of character!!

Take a look at Christo and his mom and dad’s ‘day on the farm’ photos!
