Wendy's maternity shoot

On the 9th of October 2012, I photographed Wendy and Geoffrey’s little angel when she was still in her mother’s womb…

We had great fun with the shoot, usually the husbands aren’t all that keen for a photo shoot, but Geoffrey was smiling and posing all the way without complaining once!

The animal kids also loved the camera, and didn’t leave Wendy’s side for a minute! Already protecting their little sister!

Little Ilva is now almost a month old!

Niel & Lynn Kasselman

A wedding to be remembered for ever... Niel and Lynn Kasselman got married on October the 6th, 2012 on their farm in the woods, near Stillbay. It was beautiful, like a fairytale! Everybody was literally inside this beautiful big forest, with trees all around you, birds singing and leaves falling! The ceremony and the reception were both held there.

Isabel Jackson and her brother, Hansie Saayman, did the “decorating of the woods”, (if I may say so.) Everyone got a tin mug to drink their homemade punch out of and ate out of tin plates. Fynbos was all over in big tin mugs and old suitcases and milk cans feature as well.

For the photos we went to one of the neighbour’s farms, where they nearly had to drag me away, because I would have taken photos there till noon! From the farmyard you can see all the way to the Sleeping Beauty with sheep and a windmill in the foreground! We also took photos in the wheat field, and inside this wheat field are two little stone cottages. Now you can just imagine...!

Niel and Lynn are also thinking of renting out their venue. If anyone should be interested, you can drop them a mail at: tolynn@cellc.blackberry.com

Enjoy the photos!

Johan & Jenny Dixon

Johan and Jenny Dixon said their vows to each other on September the 29th, 2012 in Albertinia.

Jenny looked stunning and was one of the calmest brides I've had the pleasure of working with!

They had the reception at the lovely Garden Route Game lodge, www.grgamelodge.co.za . Of course I was very amped for the photos, because I get to do the game drive with them! We got very close to a young curious giraffe and some zebras! Also an ostrich on an egg... everybody just kept watching the van and were ready to run a 100m sprint if he would stand up, luckily he didn't see us!

Unfortunately we couldn't go to the elephants, but I think we got great shots anyway!
