Miertjieskraal

At the beginning of March I photographed the Snyman Family on their farm, Miertjieskraal, between Riversdale and Ladismith.

It was the perfect time of the day for photos and the Karoo sun just gave it that little bit extra! The family consist out of Father Johan, Mother Ester their three children, two grandchildren, a cat and a dog!

Everyone as peaceful as the Karoo itself! You can see to infinity while Gouts are gazing and bird singing!

 

 

Van Zyl Family

On March the 31st, 2013, I photographed the van Zyl family in Stillbay.

Like I said in the previous blog entry, that weekend the weather in Stillbay wasn’t the best, so on a still windy Sunday morning, the van Zyl family and I cruised through Stillbay and stopped at a few places to take some photos.

Like my wedding couple, the weather didn’t stop this joyful family from having as much fun as they could with the photos!



Henk & Sanmari Jacobs

On March the 30th, 2013, Henk and Sanmari Jacobs got married at Botterkloof just outside Stillbay.

Let’s be fair, the weather wasn’t the best, but we managed to get some nice photos in spite of the wind and the rain and the sand J !

Sanmari arrived at the church on a horse-cart drawn by a miniature horse! Very cute!

We took photos at Botterkloof and then went to the beach, not the most fun day at the beach, but this awesome couple didn’t mind the weather and played along very nice!

At the reception there were loads of detail and best of all, for desert there was a sweets table, how cool is that!!
