Lila Geldenhuys baptism

Lila Geldenhuys got baptised on August the 26th, 2012, in the NG-Church, Riversdale West. Her big sister, Jana, brought her in while brother, Muller, stood with cheeks all blown up, because he didn't get the chance to do it!

The preacher explained everything to the parents, Danie and Alida, and they promised to teach Lila the principals of God and His Greatness as she grows older.

After church they had a tea for the family at their home, Lila sat up for the first photos but after a while she fell fast asleep in her godmothers arms during the family photo shoots!

But just as they let her lay down, she woke up again, and I got some awesome photos of her while she was awake!

 

Emcee & Chene's South African bday party!!

On August the 4th, Emcee and Chene Stander had their very first South-African birthday party in Riversdale!! The Stander family is originally from South-Africa, but moved to the UK a few years ago. This year they decided to give the kids a South-African, pirates and Barbie themed party!!

The boys all had eye patches, tattoos and swords! And Chene looked like a fairy, with wings and a beautiful pink netted dress!

I don’t know about the kids in UK, but South-African kids just love parties!! So I think everyone enjoyed themselves untill they fell assleep!

 

 

Eugene & Nicolene

 July the 15th, we did Eugene and Nicolene's pre-wedding shoot. We've tried this before, but instead of taking some nice photos, we had a storm and could not even start with the shoot!

But on July the 15th the weather was perfect and we got very nice shots, the sun even threw us a golden hour for that little bit extra! These two were so in love, they were giggling from start to finish!

Can't wait for the wedding!!
