mieke & Cara Baptism

February 7, 2012, Mieke Janse van Rensburg and her cousin Cara van der Westhuizen got baptized.  Mieke is my husbands brothers little girl, so off course we went up to Cape Town for the baptize and I took a few snaps.

As always she and her cousin looked perfect in their little white dresses! And didn’t make a peep when the minister pored the water on their foreheads!

Vermeulen Familie

Sunday morning 8:30am we were on the beach with perfect blue skies and started the Vermeulen family shoot!

Now this is one crazy, but crazy in a good way, family! They played along great and we got great shots, not just the normal standing next to each other family portraits! They jumped, picked up “ouma” in the air and laughed all the way!!

I think everyone had loads of fun at the end of the shoot!

 

 

 

 

Odendaal Familie

Saturday afternoon, January 21, 2012, I arrived at the Odendaal families house to take a few photos of them. We went down to the park, just below their house and did our shoot there.

Mihan and Ludwig, Samie and Lodelia’s two boys love the outdoors and were throwing leaves up in the air and running around! Mihan even once nearly landed in the little stream, but nothing can break these two wild boys’s spirits! And they sure love the camera (and the camera loves them)  Mihan once told me: “ Hey you, tannie, take my photo!”

So like one can only imagine, I had a blast photographing this fun loving family!

Mieke Snyman

On January 14th, 2012, I had a photo shoot with François and Lorinda’s little princess, Mieke! 

 In these photos Mieke is a little bit more than two months old, and she didn’t cry once in a whole hour’s shoot!! 

Did pass out at the end though, but I’ll take that as a job well done :) !!
