You know about that cliché joke that every best man makes, when he acts like he has forgotten the rings.., well this nearly happened at Jimmy and Leandri Dwyer’s wedding on New Years eve in Gouritzmond!

Everybody got dressed in Albertinia, about a three quarters of an hour’s drive from Gouritzmond, where the ceremony would took place. 5 minutes before the bride must enter and the wedding should start, they realized that the rings were still in Albertinia!! The father of the groom quickly drove back to fetch it, (all in all in less than 30 minutes!) and right before he entered the chuch, he said, like a teenager who just got his first car: “Man, thát’s why I bought that car!!”

The wedding took place and I got very nice pictures of  the couple in and around Gouritzmond. The reception was at Excelcior Weddings in Vleesbaai and everything looked lovely as always!!
